Private Residence, Hampstead, London
Chichester Stoneworks created the focal centre of this refurbishment in Hampstead: the overall project was to bring two dwellings into one with a stone staircase and matching floors playing an important part of binding the two together.
Working with Price and Myers, Chichester Stoneworks designed a simple charming staircase in Massangis Beige Clair, a French Limestone, selected for its dappled colour and texture to soften the formality of the structure.
The staircase, floors and external hard landscaping were worked and installed through the spring of 2014 in a fervour of feverish activity, in the rush to complete in time for the client’s summer calendar.
